The Joss Orange Solar Charger is the best use of the sun’s rays since pale people discovered tanning. I am a pale person, that’s how much I love this product.

The Joss Orange Solar Charger is an affordable solar panel. Affordable as in it’ll retail for around $100. This bad mamma jamma can generate enough power to charge six regular cell phones or four smart phones. The charger also provides two and a half hours of talk time for every one hour of charging. It is made of durable material, so it won’t get all namby pamby and break on ya.

Hope on Home Solar Panels

High electric costs are one of the common reasons why people are looking for alternative sources of energy and one of these is solar energy. With the help of solar devices, sunlight can now be converted to electricity. Home solar panel is a simple, flat device that turns sun’s radiation to usable electric power. This is also known as photovoltaic panels or PV panels with the name derived from its meanings; “photo” which pertains to light while “voltaic” refers to electricity.

It works pretty much like photosynthesis. When the sunlight strikes the surface of the panel, the photons or light energy is absorbed by the silicon surface which acts as a semiconductor. Then the absorbed energy is turned into positive and negative electric charges that are transmitted to an external circuit which would provide direct current (DC) electricity. This electricity can be stored in batteries or inverted to produce an alternating current (AC) which is needed in running lights and appliances. This process is called the photovoltaic effect.

The panels should be installed at strategic locations where you can maximize the sun’s rays. The sun produces more heat from 9am to 3pm so the panel should be installed in an area that will be free from shade during these hours. It can be fixed on the roof, on top of a tree or placed on the ground with a stand giving you more options in choosing the space where it will be placed.
